Almost There

Well, just of the phone from the hospital.

I have to be there at 8am and I am third on the list. This will take me into theatre at about 9.30 depending on what is happening before me.

So right now I am finishing off a bit of work stuff and then off to a shower and a relaxing evening. I could do with a drink but that is not going to happen.

This afternoon I did my usual 34 minutes on the cross trainer and got to 5.5km which hurt a bit, but I do actually enjoy it. Stange but true.

I weighed myself in tonight and I am at 130.0kgs and I am reasonably pleased with that as I though I may have put some on after a string of work related dinners and a couple of parties. Well a lot of partying.

My wife would like to get one of those new $500.00 liquor licences so she can red card me at a certain time.

I am burning a few cd's onto the IPhone so I have some grooves to listen to even though everyone else in my family thinks my taste in music generally sucks.

Boz Scaggs Silk Degrees is going now and will be closely followed by Pink Floyd Echoes, Bruce Springsteen's The Rising, Magic, Greatest Hits and then for the young ones, Johnny Farnham's Greatest Hits.

On the great John Farnham, he is about to do another tour a little birdy told me today. How did we survive without him I will never know.

I'm also adding my essensial 70's triple CD. There's nothing like a bit of KC and The Sunshine Band and also The Babys.

I can't stand the bollocks on the radio these days.
